Editorial Guidelines
A spiritual tool is only as valuable as the integrity behind it. These are the commitments we make to every person who trusts Aura with their inner exploration.
Expert, Experience, Authoritativeness & Trustworthiness
Aura's content is created and reviewed by licensed professionals in psychology, behavioral science, and editorial journalism. We adhere to EEAT principles — the same standards used by Google to evaluate trustworthy health and wellness content.
Psychological Grounding
Every archetype, energy descriptor, and assessment within Aura is rooted in recognized psychological frameworks: Jungian archetypes, the Big Five personality model, and Enneagram typology. We do not invent frameworks; we interpret established science through an accessible, experiential lens.
Editorial Independence
No advertiser, partner, or sponsor has influence over our archetype definitions, assessment weightings, or editorial tone. Our results engine is built on psychological logic, not commercial interest. If a partnership ever influenced content, it would destroy the integrity that makes Aura valuable.
Compassionate Precision
We write about the psyche with care. Labels like 'The Philosopher' or 'The Architect' are metaphorical tools for self-reflection — not diagnoses, verdicts, or permanent definitions. Our language is chosen to open doors, never to close them. Every archetype description is reviewed for potential harm by a licensed psychologist.
Expert Review Process
All long-form content (blog posts, archetype guides, frequency explanations) passes through a three-stage review: factual accuracy by our research team, psychological validity by a licensed expert, and tonal review by our editorial director. Nothing is published that has not cleared all three gates.
Source Transparency
When we reference studies, statistics, or claims, we cite our sources. We distinguish clearly between established scientific consensus, emerging research, and our own interpretive framework. We are not a scientific journal, but we behave with academic honesty.
Living Document Policy
Psychological science evolves. Our content does too. Major archetype guides and frequency descriptions are reviewed annually or whenever foundational research updates warrant a revision. All articles carry a 'last reviewed' date so you know how current the information is.
Corrections Policy
We are not infallible. When errors are identified — whether in our psychological claims, archetype descriptions, or factual statements — we correct them promptly, transparently, and without ego.
- Submit corrections via our Contact page
- We acknowledge errors within 48 hours
- Corrections are clearly marked on updated content
- Significant corrections are disclosed in our editorial log
